The fourth edition of our “One Time To Rule Them All” Competition

Let’s go over the rules !

• - This week’s map is called “A million and one little pieces” and can be downloaded from here
• - No cheating and no adding extra A.I. enemies from the menu
• - If you are among the winners you’ll have to provide a replay so make sure you check the “Record replay” checkbox before begining the level.
• - First place will get 2 games from our “Prize Bucket”, second and third place will get one game.
• - Last and most important rule : HAVE FUN !

• - After you’ve downloaded and installed the map, make sure you create an account on the website in case you didn’t already have one. You’re going to need it if you want to submit your times.
• - After you start the game, bring up the main menu by hitting ESC and go to Multiplayer >  Marble Arena Community > My Community Profile. In there, enter the username and passcode that you received in the registration email.
• - Bring up the main menu again, and go to “Play another level”. In the Custom tab you should find the map you’ve just downloaded and installed.
• - Make sure you check the “Record Replay” checkbox in the left area, just under the map preview.
• - Start playing and go crazy !
• - After you complete the level, a dialog will appear asking you what you want to do. Select “Post best time” from there !
• - Every once in a while check out this page to see how your best time fares against those of others.
• - If you’re feeling chaty, you can always visit our forum and discuss competition related stuff.

zeArchitect created this level as a dedication to our very own Kurt, currently the best MA2 player out there according to the leaderboard, so Kurt, let’s see you complete this one 5 minutes after you’ve downloaded it !

If features 12 corridors (hence the name), each with its very own challenging way of completion. There’s a checkpoint at the start of each corridor so that you don’t have to punch your computer out of frustration for having to restart after every mistake, and trust us, mistakes will be made .

This map is a special dedication to all the Minecraft fans out there (ourselves included)

All the textures in here are based on the original Minecraft textures and credits for those go to their respective owners.
Hopefully they won’t mind

The map features editing mechanics somewhat similar to the minecraft ones except you don’t have a limited number of blocks and also you don’t have to gather any resources or mix them together.

The instructions are only a little bit different than those for usual maps, because this also includes extra textures.

• - Download the archive from here >> MarbleCraft v1.0 <<

• - Start the game launcher and there, on Mac simply click on “Show user game files”, and on Windows and Linux go to Configure Game and click on “View game files”. This should open up the game’s data folder.

• - Open the “packages” folder. If this folder doesn’t exist, you’ll need to manually create it.

• - Extract the contents of the archive you’ve downloaded in the “packages” folder

• - Run the game and once it finishes loading, hit Esc to bring up the main menu. Select “Play another level” from there.

• - Go to the “Custom” tab and the new level you’ve just downloaded and installed should be there. Click on it.

• - Enjoy !

In the map you’ll find hints that explain what you need to do, so make sure you read them.

The time has come to commence one of our long overdue competitions.

Aptly called “One Time To Rule Them All”, it’s a best time competition and it will take place on a weekly basis, starting every Friday.

Let’s go over the rules !

• - Each week we will be releasing one brand new level for the purpose of the “One Time To Rule Them All” contest. This week’s map is called “Tu-be or not tu-be” and can be downloaded from here

• - Being that this is the first edition, the best 10 times will win a prize as follows: first place will get 2 games from our “Prize Bucket”, next 9 will get one game.

Since the game was released we have had more than 150.000 downloads. That is quite a lot more than we ever expected so we would like to say thank you !

With that many downloads comes a great resposibility to keep the game going. Most of you liked the game but there were many that weren’t entirely happy with it, so we’d like to do our best to keep all of our gamers happy.

Many good suggestions and ideas came from our community and from reviews posted on various websites, so we decided to post a roadmap showing our dedication to making the game better.

• 3. DONE – Auto save game on exit
• 4. DONE – Auto save game on level completion
• 5. DONE – Add “Resume latest save” button that should load the latest save
• 6. DONE – Make game keys text more visible
• 7. DONE – Make upgrade points persistent in multiplayer, even after map change
• 8. DONE – Improve server master rights in Veto and Locked modes. Server master should be the one who changes the level and regular player’s suggestions should appear as text and not pop-ups.
